National League Round 2 and RAS na Roinne - JUly 8th

Sean and Kevin continued their winning streaks. Sean won the 5000m in Athlone in round 2 of the National Leage for the East Cork Divisional side. Sean set a blistering pace solo, finishing in 15:00.92. Also competing for the East Cork Divional side was Frank O'Brien who was 2nd in the 3k S/C and 4th in the 800 in 1:58. New member Michael McSweeney was 4th in the Discus with 27.10 mters and was 5th in the 56lb weight with 4.40 meters.

Again these are great races for anyone trying to improve a road PB or even to try another event. So if you have any interest please contact Liam. He might even tailor make a programme for you...

Kevin raced a 5.5 mile in Dungarvan and seems to be getting comfortable leading form the front as he comfortable eased away form the field to be the only man home sub 32 mins.
