Championship Racing:
First up was Frank last week running in the English XC championships on the world famous Parliament Hill course in London. In a very high caliber field Frank completed the 12k muck run in 45.13 for a credible 53rd overall. Our other young gun Paul, ran in the Irish University XC championships in Santry for UCC on Saturday and had a solid run for 17th overall. For a 1st year this is an excellent result. Assuming he passes his exams he still has 4 more years running at this level. Tim was our sole representative at the Munster Road Championships in far away Quilty, Co Clare. Tim won the race and had a good battle with former winner Kevin Moore. Tim won in 19.45. Again the course was measured to counter act the current shoe technology. Tim was entered in the Senior and M35 categories so he took home two individual gold medals and a gold M35 County team medal. BHAA: The BHAA had a race in Bishopstown on Sunday morning organised by MTU. Kenneth was 2nd overall in 16.20, Eric 38th in 19.08 and Avril 135th in 23.01. Next Up: Next Up is the County Novice and Masters Road championships in Castlelyons on March 18th.
