Munster Roads 2020:
The Munster Roads are taking place this Sunday in Dungarvan. The start time on Munster athletics says 12pm so the assumption is that is when the women will take to the line and the men should be shortly after approx 12.30.

We have Senior and Novice teams entered in both along with a mens master team in the O35 category. Interestingly Donal will be running all categories, great recent form has him promoted to the Senior ranks.

Fiona will be out to defend her title from last year, which she won comprehensibly in horrendous conditions in Dundrum. Tim will be running his first race since November but has pedigree in this race finishing 2nd last year overall. Our Senior mens team will also be looking to defend their title from 2019.

It is great to see some of the "new blood" out in force in the teams too. Donal, Niall, Stephen, Norah and Denis all will be looking to make an impact. See full teams below.

Old Newsletter - March 1987:

The 6th edition was released in March 1987 and has the below highlights:

-
East Cork Novice Cup Champiosn: Frank Cashman, John Walsh, Brendan Foley and Jim Curtin.
- Munster Cross Country Senior winners for the very first time with Liam in tied first place with Tommy Maloney, although he might tell you a different story. Eileen Prunty was 2nd overall in the womens Senior race.
-
National Intermediate Cross Country. We finished 3rd team in a field of over 200 runners. Bryan Meade (who had been cruising 1k intervals at 2.50's in training at the time) was 10th, Texan Gerry Wallis was 15th, the evergreen Denis McCarthy was 31st and Seamus Hartnett 59th.
