1) First Cork senior championship win at Carrignavar, January 1st, 1986: Jim Curtin, Paul Mulholland, Seamus Hartnett, Bryan Meade, Liam O’Brien, Denis McCarthy, Jerry Wallace.

2) First Cork novice championship win at Carrignavar, October 1987: (back) Jim Curtin, Tom Walsh, John Walshe, Brendan Foley (R.I.P.); (front) Eric Meade, Frank Cashman, Ray Foley.

20) Castlemartyr 4 Mile - April 20th, 1989. 81 runners. Liam won in 19.25, John Kearney 2nd in 19.33, Tony O'Leary (Leevale) 3rf 19.37. Other on start line - Eric Meade, Tony Ryan, Mary Sheehan, Denis McCarthy, Laim O'Brien, George Walsh, Marion Lyons, Eamonn McEvoy (who, along with Denis McCarthy and John Walshe, ran all 24 Castlemartyr races), John Delaney, Tom Hartnett, Joe Murphy, Michael Roche, Pat Kerrigan, John Kearney, Paul Mulholland, Willie Griffin, Bryan Meade and Tom Owens.
